The ROHS certificate
At Xemex, we are proud of our RoHS certification. That may sound technical, but it simply means that we treat the environment and people’s health responsibly. Our devices comply with strict European regulations to avoid harmful substances. This is how we contribute to a more sustainable world.

For our environment and health
The RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certificate proves that our electrical and electronic devices comply with the European RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU). This directive restricts the use of harmful substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium and other hazardous chemicals in appliances.
Meaning ROHS
- Our devices contain no or only minimal amounts of prohibited substances.
- Our devices meet all legal requirements, including CE marking.
- Our devices can be safely used and freely traded within the European Union.
Method of certification
- Our products are thoroughly tested in an accredited laboratory.
- If the tests confirm that no harmful substances are present, we receive the certificate.
- Our products thus become not only safer, but also more environmentally friendly.
Why ROHS
Electrical appliances sometimes contain substances that are harmful to the environment and human health. RoHS regulations ensure that these substances are restricted as much as possible. By doing so, we contribute to a cleaner world, safer products and better recycling of materials.
