Xemex introduces three new products: SCC, KWHIQ (with RS485) and LEWIZ!

The energy market is rapidly changing. There is a growing need for clear overview and flexibility in all aspects of this energy revolution. At Xemex we understand this growing need and that is why we have been working hard over the past year to develop three new products that allow you to deal with energy in a smart way. This is not only good for the environment, but also for your wallet!

Smart Charge Controller

The first newcomer to Xemex’s product portfolio is the SCC. SCC stands for Smart Charge Controller and is a device for controlling charge points, in function of load balancing and optimizing the self-use of solar energy. This CT power meter with MODbus RTU/RS485 or MODbus TCP offers you as a consumer some important advantages, including:

• Smart charging based on measurements by SCC
• Control of peak consumption by limiting the charging capacity from the charging station to the vehicle
• Optimization of the self-consumption via the charging station
• Solar charging only

The Smart Charge Controller measures the grid current and then regulates the charging current to the electric vehicle based on the Dynamic Load Balancing function of the charging station and the selected charging mode. The device can also be used for both single-phase and multi-phase installations.

KWHIQ + RS485 interface

The second introduction of Xemex is a renewed version of KWHIQ, now with RS485 interface. This latest version of KWHIQ combines the measured gross production data with the data from the inverter and/or the smart meter. This device also offers many advantages:

• 1-phase and 3-phase MID certified measurement
• Management of energy consumption and production
• Monitoring, security and control functionality
• Independent 4G/5G GSM communication

The device is read out by the Cast4All SIMPL platform via GSM communication. Cast4All collects and aggregates your data, ensuring stable energy monitoring today and in the future!

LEWIZ

The third and perhaps most impressive introduction is LEWIZ. LEWIZ is a combined energy management and monitoring solution. The device gives you insight into the use of your energy and controls the devices that generate and consume energy locally. This way, your own energy is used optimally and the cost of additional energy consumption is kept under control. LEWIZ can be connected to:

• The inverter of the solar panel system
• A home battery
• The charging station for the electric car
• The heat pump
• The utility meter of the grid operator
• Possibly other large-scale consumers

Reading-out and control takes place via GSM communication or Ethernet connection from the Cast4All SIMPL platform. Cast4All provides independent energy monitoring, so that with LEWIZ you are always and everywhere in control!
