Data: the new gold, from the smart meter

Not only in the Netherlands, but also in Belgium, Sweden and other countries, the switch is being made from the analogue meter to the smart meter. Monitoring and managing energy flows is gaining in importance because netting is being reduced or even abolished completely, as is the case in Belgium. In business and residential complexes, where different systems come together, it is important to be able to manage all these energy flows together within 1 portal. The P1MB of Xemex makes this possible. The P1MB module is a DIN-sized P1 to MODbus converter that reads the P1 data from the smart meter. Data obtained in this way can be used for load balancing of EV charging stations. The P1MB can be used in combination with the Xemex DINgate Multimeter or any other gateway with RS485 capability and is ideal for use in solutions designed for monitoring and controlling energy flows, both for residential and commercial use.
