Vacancy: Support Engineer

Your contribution
As a support engineer, you are first point of contact for questions from our customers. You help solve problems or steer the installation of our products in the right direction. Our products are used in the many facets of the energy transition (such as monitoring and managing solar panels, charging stations, heat pumps and combinations thereof (EMS)). You are part of a multidisciplinary team within the Professional Services department, in which you use your knowledge and expertise to contribute to the growth of our organization.
Your responsibilities are as follows:
- General support in support of our products- 1st line support = initial service contact with customers- 2nd line support = problem analysis/reproduction of reported problems
- Administrative handling of returns (RMA)
- Occasional service assignments for existing and new clients:- Analysis error conditions on site - Commissioning/configuration of (new) Xemex products
- Providing training about our products to our clients and their customers
- Internal support by giving support in the department of production & logistics
Your personality and strengths
- You preferably have a technical master’s education or equivalent through experience..
- You are looking for a first working experience or you already have a couple of years of experience in a similar support function.
- You are analytical, precise, a problem solver and have a healthy dose of common sense.
- You are proactive, enthusiastic and enjoy taking the initiative.
- You are a team player and can also work independently.
- You are a strong communicator and know how to back your opinion. You are constructively critical and dare to give feedback.
- You are young at heart, open-minded and know how to deal with change. You can also cope with a dynamic, changing company. You are stress resistant and know how to deal with the unexpected.
- You realise that you are the one driving your career and your personal development. You can make suggestions about what you need for that.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French and German is a plus.
